Why vegetable-tanned leather?
Vegetable tanning uses natural tannins instead of the commonly used chrome process. This traditional process takes longer but results in strong and durable leather that ages beautifully. According to Cooper & Quint, the leather is free from harmful chemicals like chrome and is biodegradable.
