LINGGAH is an airy, hand-woven throw with a timeless zigzag pattern and long fringes. The combination of natural cotton, artisanal weaving, and a calm black-and-white design gives the throw a warm boho look that is easy to combine with various interior styles.

From cotton plant to hand-woven throw

For LINGGAH, cotton from local farmers in Java is used.

According to the supplier, the cotton fields are naturally fertilized, and the cotton bolls are picked by hand. Afterwards, the cotton fibers are separated from the capsule, pressed, and combed.

The cotton is then hand-spun into yarn. This yarn is processed by experienced artisans on traditional wooden looms.

This is how a throw is created step by step, with much of the production process still being carried out entirely by hand.

Artisanally made in Java

LINGGAH is handmade in Java, Indonesia.

According to its own statements, Soeji selects production partners who pay attention to fair wages and good working conditions. The products are made by adult and experienced artisans.

According to the supplier, no harmful chemicals are used in the production process. Moreover, because many activities are performed manually, relatively little machine production is required.

Due to the handmade process and the use of natural materials, small differences in texture, size, and finish may occur. These variations are part of the artisanal character of the throw and make each piece unique.
