Why vegetable-tanned leather?
Vegetable tanning uses natural tannins instead of the widely used chrome process. This traditional process takes longer but results in strong, durable leather that ages beautifully. According to Cooper & Quint, the leather is free from harmful substances such as chrome and is biodegradable.
